What is this called on a throttle body?
I tried searching, but I don't know what it's called.
I even looked in the repair manual, but the don't even mention it.
I suppose I could go to a honda dealer and ask, but I thought this might be a little faster.

Also, does any one know where I can get an aftermarket piece, the smaller one?

Sorry for the picture not showing,
I'm talking about the metal disk on the side of the throttle body where the throttle cable hooks up.
I tried looking for an aftermarket one, but since I don't know what it's called, it makes it very difficult.

Why would you want to change that out? If you want to upgrade, send your entire throttle body to be bored out to a bigger diameter or buy an aftermarket bigger bore throttle body. It's cheaper just to bore them out. There is a person (on here I believe) that bores your unit for $100 to a bigger diameter.
I'm sorry, you probably misunderstood me. I'm not trying to change the throttle body, just the rotor.
Smaller radius rotor=faster throttle response.
and it only cost $30

What is wrong with the stock rotor? This would have to be the single most worthless mod your could invest in?

What difference would it make to move you foot down 2" if the throttle cable is maxed out, the butterfly is fully open and you're on WOT?
This is not to increase the opening when on WOT, it supposedly opens the butterfly and you get to WOT 50% faster.
I can't really seem to understand it though. Your foot can't be THAT slow to get to WOT.

Yeah thats what I was saying Dimi, why not just save the money and just press the pedal to the floor instead of trying to save an entire inch or two of pedal travel. Just seems lazy and useless to me.
That's just the thing, I have to burry my pedal in the floor carpet, and even then I don’t always get to WOT.
Oh, and my cable is tight as it is, can’t do anything more to it.

I had this problem ever since my car was bone stock and I did try to tighten it, but no luck.
I know I can't expect a lot of a d16y7 engine, but I was hopeful I could improve it.
I just got a Y8 intake manifold/throttle-body and cable, and I figured I could do the throttle rotor at the same time too, but if any of you have tried it and know it's just some b.s., then I probably shouldn't waist my money.
Maybe with the new intake and all it'll work better anyway.

the rotor is stupid because it only lets you push the pedal down half way. I would be worried about shearing the ends off the throttle cable at that point.
Absolutely no reason to change from stock.
