anyone elses ITR rotors rust pretty quick when its raining outside? i left mine out for one night and i see rust spots from rain drops all over.. and now when i brake it makes funny noises

guess i have to get them resurfaced... again

 

my rust after 5min of getting wet during car washes. just drive them and the pads will take care of the rest.

 

surface rust should come right off the first time you apply the brakes.
I have had my rotors sit outside for months and one full day of driving around
cleaned them up.

 

mine do the same thing, but the rotor surface cleans up after a few minutes of driving. i painted the hats at the same time i painted the calipers so i don't have a problem with that part rusting.

 

damn dont i feel dumb.
well i'm not an ITR owner. i have an EK with the conversion.. first time leaving it out in the rain

please dont paint the drums...

rust is your friend.
