Need help, Car wont start.

Default Need help, Car wont start.

95 Accord EX-L F22 Vtec, Drove it home from wrk yesterday, Didnthave a bit of problem out of it, Got up to goto work and it didnt start. Got lights,headlights,stereo,ect.. so the batt is fine, I tride jumping it and hav a batt charger on it just to be sure, It wont turn over, Start does not click or anything, Just does nothing. Plase help me out.

If the starter won't click or spin, but you do have some voltage to the lights and such, i first suspect the battery is dead. DO you have a friend that could swap the battery out of his car and try it?

Sounds like a bad solenoid if you've got auxiliaries but the engine's not turning over. Check that, then check your starter motor too.

Took the batt out of my accord and put it in there and it did the same thing, I just changed the starter in my accord last week, Wehn it went bad it would just click, This one dont make any noise or anything.

You sure you got power going to the starter? Got a test light or a multimeter?

im having the same problem. every once in a while the car wont start. thought it was the battery but it's new. used a multimeter, have 12.5v on the battery when its sitting and also same when i goto turn it over. nothing happens, it's like the clutch isnt being pressed, but it is. sometime last week, it took liked 2 seconds of the key to start b4 it would crank. not sure the problem.

it sounds llike the ignition switch is going bad
