Default rear suspention makes a big thump when compressing around a corner

ssometimes when I am making a turn that changes in elevation (like a foot at the most), my right rear suspention will make a big thump. Kind like if you hit the bottom of the car with a big hammer.

It hasnt caused any problems, but its like holy crap is something broken? did something brake?

I think it might be the spring but im not shure. I have tokicos with hyperco springs on coilovers.

is the car slammed? you could be hitting a bumpstop.
how many miles are on the shocks? they could be blown, but i'd think you'd hear the noise more often than you are.
have you checked all the bolts? one could be loose, but again i think you'd hear this more often than you are.
is the spring loose? you might not have preloaded it enough.
have you checked your bushings? one might be gone.

Doesn't that mean the shocks are blown? When the car bottoms out. My brothers old 2001 Cobra did that.

I would say it is your spring, as one tire hangs lower than the rest the spring decompress and shoots up into the tower making the noise you're hearing. Pre-loadiing may possibly fix this.

Is your car really slammed?

Inside will become unloaded then pop back into place.
