Default 99 LX...decided to keep it!

Well I was about to sell my car recently. Its in mint condition only about 125K on it and it is still under factory warranty as well until March. Up until then I am not doing to much but by the time summer rolls around I want to have a decent setup going. I am just wondering what some good options are. I want to go the boost route and was looking at either building up my current Y7 and boosting or dropping a Y8 in there and boost. It would be cheaper to just keep what I have and boost but if the Y8 would make that big of difference I will go that route. MAYBE if I can get enough cash together I would be able to do a B18B-T...anything else that would be a good option that isnt going to cost me $10,000+?

y8 has vtec, but you can get an LS mototr for about the same as a y8 motor if you know the right people, and that would definatly be a better choice for boost IMO

I have done research, I am actually quite knowledgable when it comes to boosting, I was looking for opinions, just because I am new here doesnt mean I am new to cars. Thanks zoom zoom, where would these "right people" be?? haha
