I started to just make a mockup one with materials that i had, Not enough to make a complete mani with, And I just used a torch to heat up the tubing, then used a bench vise and slowly brought it to a oval shape. It worked just fine.

that's the exact same method I used when I did my mani.

I am curious, did you manufacture the collector from stainless straight tubing? Does anyone sell the collectors prefabbed?

well I got mine done last night, but I have to tell you guys that making a mild steel vs stainless steel mani is like the bigest difference in time consuming.

after spending one whole day mocking up and tack welding I spent another 6 hrs just on Tig welding that biatch.

I found new respect for the people that make these stainless manifolds. 98ctr

PS: ill post pics for you B18C1CYA.

BTW: I did use the collector from B18C1CYA

What's up with the Thomas Kinkade puzzle? Man, I hate that guy. "Painter of Light?" That makes no sense. I just want to throw a brick though a painting of his. That would be pretty satisfying.

I hope you took these pics in your mom's sewing room...

But the manifold does look pretty good, so I guess I forgive you.
