Default 1994 Honda Accord Cold Air Intake Problems

Hey I'm having problems with my Toucan Ractive Cold Air Intake System for my 94 Accord EX Vtec. It didnt come with instructions so i thought i was screwed. I got to the point where i got the whole system installed and put the hose from the Cold Air Pipe to the TOP of the engine. and i had to unhook a little hose that goes to some stupid little sensor and i dont know what it is....... and i also unhooked what looks like the Mass Air Flow sensor or a Intake Air Temperature sensor.... I'll get some pictures up tomorrow of my car and post them to show you what I'm talking about..... if you know what I'm talkiing about please post with some pointers or info of what i can do?? Thanks...

So what exactly does the FIA controler and the FIA breather do??? Where is the Tempurature sensor and will putting this CAI drop my gas mileage more than 5 MPG???

FIA Breather???

FIA Controller???

Oh... and since i put on the CAI... i took off the Oil Cap where you insert oil and it seems to be pushing out ALOT of air.... enough to push your hand up while hovering a few inches off it..... is this a good or bad or not a problem thing??? Thanks

No problem... I also had some issues with installing my intake, the sensor that is connected to the little box at the front of the car (in your second pic, theres a vacuum line coming from it) Anyways, I didnt know what to do with the lines b/c theres no where to put it on the CAI. Some guys just told me to cap off the vaccum but what did you do with yours? Mine might be different since i have a 97. It doesnt trigger a CEL, but I'm sure its there for something. I just gave up on it and maybe what I said will help you... good luck.

Actually, the colored part is what I'm looking at....lol.... that is the only hose that just sticks out and then the little black box is just sitting there now... so ill prolly take it out.... but my engine is pushing out alot of air now... is that good or bad or normal for intsalling a CAI?? will my engine run wrong??

This is actually the only hose that is just hanging around not hooked up...

I believe the engine always pushes a lot of air... its only bad when old v8 engines push air or something. I'm not educated on all that so dont quote me on it.
