my friend showed me how to make my blinkers fast but i forgot how to do it...can anyone tell me how to do this???

 

take out one of your bulbs.

replace both of your front bumper turn signal lights (the ones under the headlights) with bulbs that draw in a different amount of power that the stock bulbs draw. The left and right turn signals are on separate systems, I think...cuz one time I drove without one bulb (the nut wasn't replaced, so my bumper light kept falling out...so i just took everything out while I drove to the dealer)....I noticed that whenever I turned left, it'll blink fast...but the right ones were ok.

 

hm....fast blinkers...now that's an idea! Maybe I'll try it. *whispers* (I'm just looking for something inexpensive to do while I'm still being dominated by bills)

 

in all seriousness, my car is PLAGUED with the fast blinker problem and i can't fix it... it's nothing more than a big headache, trust me... the reason my car has this PROBLEM is that my front end no longer has the bumper lenses, so the relay is detecting a different current...

now, i tried asking a long time ago, but does anyone have any ideas on how to resolve this issue? i had long ago thought that replacing the relays with the 5G Civic relays would correct the problem since 5G Civics do not have bumper lenses... but it's just a theory...

 

DunReit- i just purchased the Accord electrical manual from Helms and will give it a look this evening

 

Well, although the lenses are no longer there, can you still just keep bulbs in the sockets hidden behind your bumper or something?

 

just thought of this..... what about completing the circuit, like they are always on

 

Get some of those LED bulbs for your taillights. They pull a different load, and will blink fast. Highly annoying if you ask me, but if you want them, go ahead.

 

hehe, i finally got my Helms as a b-day present (although a month late) in mid-december... but i'm trying to make sense of it...
