Default Lowered Del Sol

What is needed to adjust the wheel alignment of a lowered del sol...like if im driving and it pulls to the right. I was told "camber arms" shouldnt these come with a camber kit?

you need an alignment and a camber kit adjusts the wheels if the top leans in or out like / where it should be like !

ok thats what i thought...but when my dad took my car to Just Tires for me while i was workin they told him i need camber arms to do the alignment or else it will be right back out of alignment when they bring it off of the lift...i didnt think it made sense...so i dont need anything special for a regular wheel alignment?

yah, all you mostly need is a camber kit, and they will handle the rest. How much does just tires charge anyways?

they are trying to rip you off. you dont need to have your camber fixed to adjust the toe. they should be able to do the job without a camber kit. i drive with negative camber on my car and havent noticed any more tire wear than normal. it toe that kills your tires, not camber.

If you're driving on All-Season (daily commuter) tires you won't notice much because it's hard compound.

im riding on high performance summer tires(kumho ecsta 711) and my camber doesnt affect my wear. definatly not all season. they are rated verry poor in the snow.

You just gave yourself away. I know those tires are rated summer performance but I haven't come across a kumho tire yet that isn't a hard compound tire.

Nice.. the only camber problem I can see is the rear.. but that can be fixed with spacers

The front doesn't appear to be off that bad.. maybe I can bypass ever getting a camber kit and get it alligned back into spec.. thanks

It all depends on how much your vehicle is lowered. If the alignment shop stated that you need a camber kit, that usually means that you are not within factory specs. If this vehicle is your daily driver, you definitely want to get your camber within spec or you will be shelling out more money on tires than the camber kits cost. Contact me and I will let you know what your options are. We are one of the largest camber kit dealers in the country so we can help you out and have the best prices around. http://www.camberkit.com
