I did just that. In the final stages of my swap I realized a crucial thing was overlooked. I could not get my hands on the wiring harness for the clutch saftey circuit. My accord was an automatic to begin with so I converted it over to manual, and did not have the dash wiring for the clutch saftey switches. I had an MSD kit from the original motor that I wired up instead. I pulled the internal coil, and wired the msd blaster coil in it's place. Then hooked it all up to the MSD 6A module. It works great. Are you sure the dist is bad? Maybe it's just the coil. Let me know if this would be helpful info for you.
