Default could it really be the starter?

i've posted a few times in regards to my starter..it seems like the damn thing is shot to hell and then it will work fine when i go to start my car a few minutes later anyway..here is the situation.

for about the past 3 months my starter will crank about 10 times and then the engine will turn over

it's a b16, usually if I leave my battery unplugged and the car sits overnight then then it will start.

occasionally if I don't unplug it then it wont start in the morning, it wont even attempt just nothing, no hum or crank or nothing.

my battery is a small 11.5lb drycell Dynobatt, and I know it's fully charged as of 3 days ago when I let it sit on the kragen charger for a weekend.

So is it possible that battery is bleeding out it's charge overnight? or that my starter is getting crappy and thus it's taking one hell of a lot of power to try to get it cranking? the times that it wont go I will just jump it and it will do what it usually does, crank about 10 times then start.

normally i wouldn't assist a tke but........

sounds like your starter is taking a slow dump AND you've got a power drain somewhere in your electrical system

the starter is simple enough but i've driven myself homicidal looking for electrical problems

good luck and please keep us updated
