The p30 is the JDM B16 DOHC ecu if memory serves me correct.

What you have is a DOHC VTEC ecu, as far as the idleing problem, not too sure. The thing is I'm not sure if it's from the 94-95 Del Sol Vtec or the 96-97 Del Sol Vtec. If it's from the 96-97 then it's a ob2 ecu(the one that you don't want) but if it's from a 94-95 then it's obd1(the one you need). Correct me if I'm wrong.

It's on the tip of my tounge but I can't remember which is which?

Stupid me, I'm looking at my ecu and it reads 37820-P30-A00 same as yours so you do have a obd1 b16 ecu(which is the one you need). The question now is what year is your motor? Is it obd0, obd1, or obd2?

Where did it come from? USDM or JDM.
