Building RSX S on boost what should I do??
I recently purchased a 04 RSX S and want to go boost. I want to make a lot of power. Im having Benson sleeve my block and staying at 86mm bore. Im using 9:1 CP piston and Crower billet rods. Im going to use the Rev Hard kit unless you can recommend a better kit. Im new to the industry so your help would be greatly appreciated. What do I do as far as the fuel system fuel pump, regulator etc. Suspension? What do i do ???All suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks
these are my favorite items/brands:
turbos--precision (i have 2, not on the same car)
bov-tial
wastegate--tial
manifold--full-race or full-race style (like neukin or Complete Engineering)
ems--hondata (affordable) Motec (expensive as hell, but bad ***)
intercoolers--PWR, Precision/garret, greddy
fuel injectors--precision or RC
fuel pump--Walbro or Aeromotive (if you need a huge one)
clutches--ACT, tilton, RPS
I would not go with a rev-hard kit...the only kit I would use is Full-Race, but I think it is better to piece together a kit...and usually cheaper.
You are already off to a good start with the Benson block--and CP and Crower are good, too.
It does not appear you are trying to do this cheaply, so how much do you want to spend and how much power to you want to make? We need to know that in order to give you more specific info.
Also, I would recommend you find a knowledgeable mechanic in your area that does this type of thing unless you plan to do everything yourself.
There are so many options available, it really depends on how much money you are going to spend and what your goals are...crazy power is expensive...I know first hand.
There are more companies making items for B-series than K, but everyone is getting into the K-series now, so this is a decent time to do it, although the K-series stuff like manifolds is considerably more expensive.

get the k pro, i would get the cybernation manifold, because it places the turbo lower than the rest of the manifolds, i have seen many rsx's catch on fire, due to the turbo being up against the firewall
