Default The RSX?

I never hear anybody talk about boosting the RSX. What is the deal...too high compression? Come to think of it...I dont hear anybody talk about this car at all.

jackson racing is making a kit to be released soon that i think is 4psi. they are not blowing head gaskets. i saw a dyno of a 3psi turbo setup that made 250whp, but i dont know details of reliability on this.

With the Hondata reflash and stock boost of about 5 psi on a Type-S Doug was able to get 270hp out of the car with the Jackson Racing kit (prototype/pre-release).

The bigest problem with these cars and FI is engine management. With a returnless fuel system is is very difficult to increase fuel when the boost comes in.

Ive got one apart in my shop rihgt now, we are doing sleeves, pistons, rods and a turbo kit. i am building a custom fuel system with a return so we can use a rising rate FPR. We are also going with hondata for our management. More to come in the next few months. Oh, yeah, this same motormade 280whp on a wet shot. It also went boom.

the car is brand new. give it some time and the k20 will be in every hatch. most people who spent 25k on a car are not going to tear it apart to race.

True. If this motor project goes well I may build another one for my 00 Si.
By the time I get around to doing it though everyone else will have done it.
Story of my life.

Aren't all modern Hondas using returnless fuel systems?

Why put a rising rate regulator in it and then use Hondata also. If you're getting a Hondata use it to drive big injectors.

The returnless fuel system I belive started with the 2001 model year. I know 2000 and below all had return lines on them.
