prospeed header question about flange to connect to cat?

Default prospeed header question about flange to connect to cat?

hey guys im going to get the prospeed header pretty soon. well i called them up he told me that im going to have to have a machine shop put a flange to connect the header with the cat can someone explain to me what he is talking about and what is a rough price they will charge me to do that? thanks guys

the header comes without a flange on the end of the pipe. So you need to go to a muffler shop, and have them weld the correct flange to mate up with the rest of your exhaust system. If i were you id have the shop change to 2.5inch exhaust while your there considering the header is already 2.5 at the collector. Depending on how much they charge for time/labor. its about 3 bucks for the flange.
