Cheap doesn't always equal good,
Look into support after the sales, warranty ECT.
I have heard some shops charge extra if you walk in with a EMS that you didn't purchase from them and you want them to tune it.

Shops are shady with work sometimes if you didnt buy your management from them because they can get jelous. Thats a sale they couldve had under their belt, not for money, but numbers. Its childish, but you see it happen.
