Default Not your typical swap.

I am about to convert my entire interior from DX ugly blue, to Si black. By full interior I mean everything. I am wondering if anybody else on this board has done the same thing and can give me some heads up on any major problems to look out for, if any. Seems like its a pretty straight forward swap, but Im just playing it safe.

Its prety easy just take your time and do it somewere warm so you dont crack any of the little plastic tabs, the only pain is the dash but its not even that bad.

MMMM well can't swap the headliner-Si's have sunroofs
It's best to get the SAME YEAR Si
Check out the differences beween models-some have Door mounted seatbelts, others have Pillar mounted -so some years work with others while others DO NOT without modification (hacking of some sort)

you can spray paint the headliner would be pretty easy actualy. i wanted to do the same thing but i said to hell with it and decided to live with my blue interior. its not that bad i actually kind of like it just hard to get things that match.

For the headliner, I'd look for a good one out of a DX or HF with the grey interior. Grey headliner like the Si, but no sunroof hole.

Other than that, I'd just say go get the right tool for popping out the interior panels without destroying the plastic tabs or the grommets they snap into. Sears, Harbor Freight, Snap-On, etc. all sell such a tool. It's pretty much just kind of a fork with two flat tines and a slot between them; it slips in under the panel and pops the fateners loose, nice and clean. I've tried it without that tool, and had hell getting panels out without screwing them up. With it, it's a breeze.
