Default anyway to pin point which cylinder is burning oil?

My car burns oil . Its not noticable through the exhaust /it doesnt smoke.
I think the head is alright(ie: its not the valve seals). I did have to change the piston in number 3 (with new rings obvioulsy) and am wondering /thinking its the culprit of the burning oil. Would pulling that piston out, honing and installing new rings solve the problem????

any way to tell if it is infact that cylinder before I tear it apart?

thanks!

why did you only replace the rings in one cylinder when you had it all apart?

do a compression and leak down test to find out whats going on......
