DO AFTERMARKET SHOCKS MAKE A BIG DIFFERENCE IN 1/4 MILE TIMES
i was wonder if an aftermarket strut like koni or tokico make a big difference in you time. as well as having a race spring as well of course.
well blown shocks or worn ones will cause your car to lift on launching and lose traciton...so good shocks can help reduce that..
Suspension plays a huge factor in being able to put the power down to the ground. You'll definitely see better 60 ft times with a better suspension. Remember... the stiffer the rear springs the less 'squat' the car has coming off of the line. You can counter running such a stiff spring with a double adjustable shock... but those are not cheap. Your regular adjustable gas shocks are a great choice for the daily driven car that see's the track once in a while.

Unless you're putting down huge gobs of power probably not. Your tires will play a big role though so look into upgrading those.

Maybe not so much in a front wheel drive cars on average power but certanly on a rear wheel drive car. When u accelerate your cars weight go's back causing your front tires to slip MORE. Droping your car also helps "front wheel drive cars" its the oposite for rear wheel drive cars you want the car to go back so a little raise in Suspension helps alot. Remember your Suspension and tires is how u lay down the power!
