In the new road and track, there is a RSX from the Tokyo auto show that is 5inches wider than stock and made to fit a 500hp power plant to compete against cars like the v-8 M3 in the races!

 

any scans or links so we can see this does it have this much power or they are saying potential power?

Check out the latest Road&Track(the new mini on the cover). In the "Ampersands" section there is a picture and description of the prototype. It is just that, a potential prototype that Honda put out to show it could. The article says that it could potentially produce the required 500hp to compete in the series. More importantly I hope there will be a variant of that body kit available to the US market. I dont need the extra five inches of width but a similar style would be perfect.

 

it is just a prototype...no plans for production...everything in it is taken from other cars...it uses a skyline style engine ignition...s2000 dash cluster...and seats from the new integra (rsx) type r...the engine is a modified s2000 block that is supercharged i believe but i may be wrong about that...so basically it is a lot of cars combined into a widebody rsx.

 

who cares if it borrows from other cars. it's still a 500 hp rsx. that is hot
