Default installing rear springs

Hey anyone know an easier way to get the rear shock spring assembly in place. Im having a hard time getting it to clear , and just get it up in there the shock is really stiff and hard to compress. Is there something to unbolt to give some more room ?

tried using sping compressor? maybe compressing the springs will help remove the shocks out.

there is a bolt that is on the end of the upper ball joint held on by a cotter pin
pull the pin out and loosen the bolt. hit the upper A arm with a soft hammer and pull down on the compensating arm.............

I'll second that, however it's a nut on the ball joint, not a bolt . When separating, do not use a fork or other means to pull the ball joint, as boostedlude97 said just hit the knuckle with a hammer and it will pop off. That'll make it much easier to intall the suspension...</TD></TR></TABLE>

i used a pittman arm puller and it worked just dandy... depending on how stuck the joint really is tho, might want to concider a sledge hammer bc arm pullers can really damage the thread/boot...

also if you have a friend with you, you can have him put pressure on your rotor from the top to give oyu more clearance to move the assembly around, thats what i had to do to get my rear assemblies in... good luck with that

Yeah i tried to get get the upper arm off but its stuck good. I didnt want to damage it so i stopped i putting it on a lift tomorrow should be easier to do. The setup is neuspeed sports/bilstein shocks , im taking the sleeve coils out. Those were easy to install , they are half the size of the neuspeeds springs.
