i've read a few threads about keyed cars, and i saw a couple suggestions. this is my first time getting keyed, so i don't know what i should do...i was wondering for this damage...if i'd have to repaint the whole area? or could the scratch stuff they sell would work....thanks for your help</TD></TR></TABLE>

Same happened to me at work last year, stupid employees retaliating against my car. It was the whole length of my car.
I ended up filling the scratch as if it were a dent, sanding and repainting with spray, it came out real good. You can tell if you get close and have the light angled right, but you cant see that from an airplane.

i think it was one of my co workers who didn't get to leave early ( he ALWAYS leaves early ) because i asked to leave early to go to church since i had a problem in the morning of my locks not unlocking i have a post up for that too. anyway back to the co worker, he was telling me i was going to hell and accusing me for lying, and everyone at work knows i love my car because i just recently got it. * sigh *

so you ended up bondo-ing your car?

i have a bad key mark right down one side of my car (we'll, two actually)

i have tried EVERYTHING short of sanding down and painting, the only thing that works, is not ideal, and you have to keep doing it after a few washes, and if you polish the car, it comes right out.

please don't all laugh at once

i use a blue permanent marker an colour the scratch in.

i would suggest that you use a red one.

depending on how deep the scrath is you can fill it pretty well. But if anythng i would just spray the whole car

i agree... i mean this is total disrespect. unless ofcourse you did something totally arrogant to the person. however, i could never bring myself to hurt someone's car. especially since i know how i would feel if it was done to me. i live by respecting others' belongings and you will get respect in return... but as we all know, not everyone follows this.

also, if you don't have total proof that he did it... i wouldn't go injuring people, because then you're 100% in the wrong.

sorry for your problem, and also that i don't have a solution for u... hope you get it resolved asap.

EDIT: i just thought of something, i used it on rock chips on my front bumper, it worked pretty well. turtle wax has a polish that comes with a 'chip stick' as opposed to chapstick you use for your lips. you apply it, put the polish on and it covers up pretty well... do a was after this and you're good.. well at least better than where u were.

no, we don't have cameras...we don't even have cameras in the store, we gota walk around and stalk people. one of my co workers told me his jeep got stolen out of our parking lot in broad daylight. i use to be scared of my car getting stolen, but now i'm more afraid of this happening again..

what's he driving?

if it isn't already a wreck.. maybe your pocket knife could find it's way to his break line

i love my car, i'd be evil enough to do it

hahaha i'm just a little girl and he's like 30 and VERY immature and lazy! no one would have seen what happened because only one of us are allowed to leave to go on break at a time, and it was almost closing time and it was dark...and it was busy and there were only two other people working along with me and him.

he got mad at me for leaving work early ( i got off 40 minutes earlier ) when he leaves work early all the time and leaves me with a sales floor to recover

thats real shitty man, i had the same thing happen to me the week after i got my car.. except it happened twice in two days..

it was actually the first night i drove my civic to work which at the time was in a mall.. i got off work real late one night, got in my car and left, stopped at a gas station on the way home and then noticed a huge scratch the whole way down the car its pretty deep, looks like a knife.. i was pissed

next night went to work again came out and had circles scratched all over the driver door with a key..

never found out who it was..

cars getting repainted in the spring thanks to those ********
