Default Good suspension setup for roadracing H1 (EK Hatch)

I am just wondering what is a good suspension to use. Right now I have groundcontrol coil overs w/KYB Adj. gas Struts with Si front and Type R rear sway bars with the Beaks kit. I drive a EK civic hatch. I want to up grade. I am currently looking at these:

Buddy Club Racing Spec Damper
JIC Magic Coilovers FLT-1US
Tein Type Flex Damper - " I'm think these are too soft."

Thats it so far. Any one know of any others to use? I don't really want to spend much over $1,300. Forums not helping much... so far

I have these from edlebrock

the stock 250 f 150 rears were actually perfect but the 10in spring height was too tall to go down to the 5in min

So I picked up a set of 300 f 200 r ERS's in 8in since they did'nt have the 250/150 in 8in yet.

My setup is very unique due to the fact I will be running the 1950 min weight and some other things I am not willing to part with yet

In my opinnion, you can't go wrong with Koni. Even when running some crazy spring rates.

TEIN RE's here.

16 Kg/mm F, 20 Kg/mm R

The spring rates that come with the flex's, although good for a street driven car in HPDE's (which they are great for) will be too soft for Road Racing. You can get the higher spring rates though.

Love the TEIN's BTW.

None of the above. Koni/GC. It`s just easier and cheaper.

I like those T1R's ! Talk about a quick post. I was going to order the RE's tommorow. Now will have to think... I will have to research about these.

Tein RE's here. 10kg/mm front and 14kg/mm rear. I've ran 2 seasons on them and they've worked nicely. I plan on getting them revalved for 14kg/mm front 20 kg/mm rear sometime this season.
I previously had a OTS Koni yellow/Ground control 375/550 setup and the RE's feel more stable.

I asked to see what people would recommend. I had a suspension in my mind Tein RE. Lots of people recommended different things which is good. I think two said they are happy with the Tein RE's. Which have tons of adjustments. So I will be going with them. They may be expensive but a lot of poeple have never said any negitive things about them. Everyone has liked them.

andrie on here had the tein RE (i think) and absolutly disliked them. In my experance with tein has been crappy also, however have never delat with anything above flex's.

IMO go with a koni (something wether it be revlaved, or the 3011's) they are proven and serviceable in the USA and you know what your getting.

Another choice would be AD's, i have never had any experance with them, and the people that have seem to either love them or hate them. Just something else to suggest.

well a lot of choices are base on personal driving style, myself are into hard corners(not a good thing actually but i like it in track days). tein is not good for my driving style. but then its in track, no problem to run into sand/grass field.

On twisties up hill then its different story, dropping down will result of death.
anyways, the point is, been using Tein Flex and seriously i think they're junk. Fatal accident almost happen to me twice until i changed it to Buddy club, extra speed, extra hold and extra confidence in corners. Until i ride on friends EK with Zeal Function. Its even better then my Buddy Clubs.

Just my 0.02

Interesting....But, I've heard athe RE handle different than the FLEX. Flex are street/occacional track events. I haven't checked the specs on the FLEX but I would be guessing the spring rates stock would be too soft for actual racing. The reason I didn't choose buddyclub is that my friend has them and just said, "they're good but I wouldn't buy them again" . I also don't know if you can get buddyclub revalved..
