tap the water temp wire that's on your stock gauge cluster

Tried that, it didnt work. now my speed odometer and rpm dont work, but all the cluster lights still work. Dont know if i shorted out the the panel or blew a fuse. Someone told me to run it to the sensor. i just dont know where it is.

I never got to any wires, when i took the consol out i only got to the green board. it has three screws that match exactly to the temp gauge, so i connected them that way. All it did was push the temp gauge to 250 degrees and hold there, so i figured that wasnt right. Now like i said my speedometer isnt working or my rpm gauge. The cluster lights still work though. I didnt want to remove the green board for fear i would fry the whole thing.

im talking about the wires that plug into your gauge cluster, so look for a green and yellow wire on the right side plug (the side where your stock temp gauge is). i never heard of just attatching it to your board, whered u find those instructions?

Where did i find those instructions??

From a very stupid source. Thanks I know exactly where the wire is your talking about. This individules instructions caused all my gauges on my dash to stop working. No tach, speedo, gas or temp gauge work now. All the cluster lights work. I was told that i shorted the ground out and needed to replace the whole cluster. I was also told to look at the relay, i dont know where that is though. So much advice; but it seems like there are only a very few who know what they are talking about. I appreciate the info.
