i have a 95 integra ls and i got it a few days ago and It had the stock head unit in but not completely installed, and i couldn't get the access codes to get it to work so i just went to best buy and got a new head unit. Its some model pioneer i dont remember.

So i hooked up my new head unit with the new wiring harnes that i needed to get it to hook up. I got it all installed and it turned on and played music just fine. Then i turned my car off and turned it back on again and there was no music but the head unit had power. So i checked to make sure everything was hooked up correctly and it was Then i turn my car on again and there was no power at all to my head unit. So i went and had my car guy check it out and he said that if i got a new stock wiring harness like from a wrecked integra that it would most likely fix it.

So i went to the junkyard and got my new harness out of a 98 gsr and i got him to wire it all up for me just in case it was my incompetence that messed everything up. But it still didn't work so now i have no idea what is wrong with it.

Oh yeah i also returned my first pioneer to get a new one just in case it was broken and i wired it up in my explorer with my harness that i bought and it worked fine.

for christ sake, its a freaking honda. Any installer worth five bucks can troubleshoot this problem. First of all, you should go back to whoever it was that told you to get a new harness and just beat the **** out of him. If not for making you spend money on stupid ****, then do it for me. Second all you need is three things for the H/U to turn on, Constant Power, Ignition, and Ground. Yellow, Red, and Black. Now if you have a system ie: amplifers etc, then you will need to have the Blue w/ White wire running to your amplifiers. If you do not then you need to check all of your speaker wire connections. I know for a fact that integras do not have factory amplifiers so thats out. Worst comes to worst, you can re-run your wires and bypass the factory wiring all together. But at this stage, id recommend you take it to someone who knows wtf theyre doing.
