i just got a 1991 accord lx auto. i noticed like in the rain of if im doing stupid stuff when the front tires slip the dashboard brake light pops on. after a while it would go off. no big deal, just thought it was some sort of skid sensor. anyways, now its stuck on, wont go off, and also recently the brake light indicator where it shows if your doors are open and stuff is also stuck on but it only goes on when i start the car and put the ebrake down, then it stays on no matter if i put the ebrake down or not. only goes off if i turn the car off when im parked and turn the car back on. weird electrical. i recently replaced the IAC due to a shitty intake i put on it. (eg dirt in the intake system) not sure if the two are related, i doubt it. i tried a search with no results. maybe i need new brakes? anything would be helpful.

 

have you checked you brake fluid level, E-brake cables, I I had the same problem, turned out that I had low/no fluid, And my ebrake kept getting jamed, The calipers in the rear would get stuck because I was missing the butterfly clips that keep the pads aligned..
