I'm still getting oil in my spark plug tubes, after i have changed the seals twice, what can be the problem????? someone help me out and let me know.

Edit: Will that also cause for me to burn oil or is it just me cause I put about 3k miles about every month or so on my car which is about half a quart every other week or so.

I just realized i didnt put the breather hose or whatever hose that is back in that hole on top of the valve cover. Now i'm hoping maybe thats the reason i'm still getting oil in my tube seals, But the first time i did it, i remember to put it back in, but in case thats not the problem, what could it be?

Use gasket sealer.

make sure the bolts are torqued right, and they are all there.

 

did all that, was i supposed to add honda bond, i keep hearing from different sources that i should or shouldnt

What year and model? Which seals did you replace?

 

Its a 95 Integra LS. Valve cover gasket and spark plug tube seals.

 

No hondabond is needed. Make sure your PCV system is working, that can make you burn oil and force oil past those seals from the pressure in the crank case.

what hes saying is that without the pcv working properly crankcase vapors cant be rerouted into your intake and end up building up and causing the seals the swell and/or leak

 

but even after a day and half of driving?

 

any new ideas?
