This is actually in response to Jdmbsixteen posting I'm scamming him out of 50$ when actually hes the one who's shadier than a freaking oak tree !!!

He offered to trade me a set of valve springs for a black 2000 Si lip and 50$ if I paid to have the lip bulk shipped to him which cost me around 30$ over a week goes by and no tracking info or springs so I call him ... he then told me he sent the lip back to me and had to back out of the deal because he wrecked his car .... he did so without even calling me or giving me a heads up !

Even though he was suposed to have sent it out two days before he supposedly wrecked his car and didn't want it anymore which is odd since hes been trying to sell his car in this post https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1040658&page=1 he tryed to tell me it was his friends car and hes trying to help him sell it but is calling it his baby and looking for trades too hmmmm ?

Then I see that he's trying to sell the lip on HT the very next day after we talked he then gives me another story about how he was trying to " help " me sell it and its already been sent and on the way even though he had nor gave me no tracking info ?!?

So we both agreed he would send me the valve springs because a deal is a deal and I reported him to a HT moderator already that as soon as I recived the lip in the mail I would sell it and sent him the money for the lip and the 50$ ... but the lip never came !

A month or so goes by still no lip and hes pming me demanding I send him the 50$ which wasnt the deal at all !!!

I offer to send him half the money 25$ in good faith but then I realize I'm not only out the lip and shipping costs but I've lost three local buyer's so far waiting for it ... if hes not keeping his word and has no proof he sent the lip why should I keep my mine ?!?

 

that is shady... crappy situation.

 

haha how is he saying 'be wary' when he is the one in possession of your lip and never sent your springs? he expects you to send an additional $50?? he is definitely the shady one, especially for attempting to sell the lip without sending your springs...

Seems to be a rash of that going around lately...I have been waiting for almost a year for the guy in my sig to replace my tranny...I went to Iraq, and came back...still no tranny...

But damn, atleast he did not try to sell my stuff...

 

Even more so since this guy said he wrecked his car thats why he was sending the lip back and now hes selling it as a clean title car ! Then tryed to tell me its was his friends car WTF !

Man that's a tough situation...Mr Mugen seems to be a good guy,hope everything gets worked out.

I say send the springs back, if he really got them, and call it good. There is too much of this BULLSHIT going on latelly and its making me paranoid to buy from goodsellers on HT.

I've sold and bought parts from here to the U.K. and have NEVER burned any one period !

I stand behind my word and if this guy hadn't lied to me more than once I would have sent him the 50$ yes I have been pretty broke over the holidays as we ALL are ...

( Lie # 1 ) But honestly guys how high of a priority would you make a guy who told you he sent you a part back already then see him post it up for sale the next day !

(Lie # 2 ) He also told me he backed out of this deal and sent the lip back because he wrecked his car and then I see a few days later he posted it up for sale as a clean title car look at his signature its listed even !

Yes I have the valve springs and no I havent used them yet since you lagged on shipping them I missed my apointment by two days and had to pay a 25$ cancellation fee and since my mech. is booked up to the end of Jan. I couldnt get my car smogged and have no freaking transportation now all because you can't keep your word Matt Stillo !

Not to mention I had this lip sold three times now for 125$ with mounting hard wear delivered locally and had to flake on the buyer because it NEVER came !

The deal was you got the money when I got the lip sold so now I'm not only out 125$ for the lost sale but 30$ for shipping and 25$ at the shop ... plus I'm without a car so I cant deliver parts which equals who know how much money so far - but is well over 50$ in my book buddy !!!

Between the 100$ you said the lip ( which I still havent got ) was worth and the 50$ which equals 150$ I'm out a total of 180$ so I should post how you scammed me out of 30$ then !?!

I offered to meet you half way since you say I still owe you 50$ and send you 25$ which you said was ridiculious so I didn't even though it was all I can afford to spare at the moment the offer is still open if you want and are willing to retract all your b.s. bro !!!

This sucks so bad. I hate shady sellers/buyers. This is a prime example of why I appreciate being in an area where I can meet up with most of my sellers and buyers.

We have hopefully worked everything out - I met him halfway and sent 25$ plus paypal fees. And in turn he edited his postings ... Thanks for working with me if only it had been sooner ....
