Will a 1g dsm bov work well with the greddy kit for a d16 even though ill only be boosting 6psi? Would the greddy type s be better, also is the 1g bov loud because i dont want to draw a lot of attention to my engine?

 

haha, you are turboed and don't want attention. Good luck. Once someone finds out everyone will know. haha. But it should be fine as you can see many people run them.

I also run a 1g dsm bov and it works pretty good @10lbs. Its not too loud, just perfect. A tip if you decide to go with one... what i ended up doing since i didn't want to have to wait on ordering a BOV flange, i just dremeled the weld inside the stock dsm elbow, popped off the flange and welded that mug on to some 1.5" tube and then on to the charge pipe.

people say that your not supposed to weld cast onto mild but it should be fine since its not supporting any weight.

haha...... i tried that too. i ended up going through like 20 cut off wheels. needless to say it was unsalvagable

i'm going to be running one also though, i've read good things about them for low buck boost.
