Sounds like a great idea, drop those AGX's 4" and let us know how that goes.

BTW< use the ******* search feature that this website offers.

I wanna get that SLammed effect on it "Tucked-In " Front & Back w/o that bouncy feeling

your oil pan is going to slam into your crankshaft if you hit a pothole

if your lucky it will knock the dent out and you can keep driving

Seriously, you'll need airbags to do it right, and probably cut inner fenders to make it useful.

Get some Koni's have them shortened at the factory. Then get a set of 800lb springs in the front and 1000lb in the rear. GC tophats along with the shortened konis should give you some shock travel. Make sure whatever wheels you get they are around a 45mm offset then you should be good to go.

Actually on second thought you might want to go 1000lb all the way around then you don't have to worry about bottoming out as much.... I'm sure your shock towers can handle it for a little while at least....

You can't do it without air bags.

Using conventional coilover suspension would just be retarded.

pick up a set of Neuspeed race springs there made by eibach so good quality and they will just tuck the very top of a stock size tire and with an alignment they will ride very well with good shocks like non adjustable billsteins

Bilstein HDs are not intended to be used on lowered cars.

I just got coilover's also. We wanted to see how it would look slammed at a 3.5" drop all the way around. Tire's tucked, camber like hell and the ride... well it could be better. It's not as bad as some others i've riden in, but it's not an OEM feel. Then I thought i'd be cool and drive with it. I scratch my lip on the driveway, tires rub the fenders at every turn, bottom's out quite often. Not good at all.

My mistake of the year. She get's a raise tomorrow. Flame away, im sorry and I will never lower it that low again, unless im going to a show or something.

Pros: Looks good stopped to a bunches of people
Cons: Everything else.

oilpan is nowhere near the crankshaft.
the pan would slam into the oil PICKUP and cause huge huge problems if he dents it. but the crank is well aray from the bottom of the oil pan.

and a 4" drop is a stupid idea. go away.

True. A friend of mine lost his Vtec crossover, couldn't figure out why. I checked everything, wiring, grounds, replaced the solenoid, swapped ECU's, and VAFC's. Eventually took the dented oil pan off to get ready for the turbo set up, and the oil pickup was crushed. It wasn't a 4inch drop, but it was very low, obviously too low.
