i've got an s1 tranny in my b18 crx and need to buy another tranny since the s1's case is all torn up. If i bought a j1 tranny would the gears and synchros and such be interchangeable? The internals of the s1 are fine, just wondering if i could use the good synchros in a j1 and possible swap gears for a better ratio.

I thought the S1 and J1 have the same ratios? Thread bust: What is your AFSC?

edit: JDM s1/j1 are the same. All the internals should be swappable. The usdm s1 is a 90-91 LS trans (everything should still be interchangeable).

hehe, that thing is probably going to get rid of my job when it replaces the jets! LOL Those things are awesome. We have some drones for training the pilots but nothing like that.
