I have the older Stage 2 and when it's extremely cold as in below 20 or 15 the car has some trouble idling at all.

Naturally one would think that due to extremely cold tempuratures a car would start up and idle improperly. When it's 15 to 20 degrees below zero, I start up and idle improperly. I'm supprised the car even starts up at those tempuratures. Not to say it wouldn't but there are many things that can cause that from happening.

If your concerned about improper idling and more than likely concerned about the possible engine damage due to this improper idling, get yourself a block heater. Also, give the car a few minutes of warming up than normal to let all the fluids properly run through the system and warm up a bit more. Swap out the oil for something more suitable, unplug your radiator fan and fill the **** out of your radiator with anti freeze.

i dont think any of the "problems" would be just because you have hondata installed. it would be because the parameters for start up/idle/enrichment werent tuned properly. getting a consistent warm/cold start up takes some time to dial in since conditions are hardly ever consistently the same. i think generally this is tuned using coolant temp and fuel enrichment tables. i would say all this will depend GREATLY on the actual mods you have done to the car as well.
