EXPO: 5 South East Caravan
Where: McDonald's Gray, TN I-26 EXIT 42 (map quest area code 37615)
When: May 26th 6AM, departure at 7AM sharp
Changed meeting place to McDonald's so we don't have to backtrack for 15 minutes. This McDonald's was just remodeled, very nice inside so we can have breakfast there or whatever.
Fat Bradstard will probably be heading up the lower SE caravan. You guys can either head out seperately or head up to my house on the 24th.
We'll stop only when needed (gas, food, OMG I'm going to **** my pants).
Here is a list of towns we'll be passing through or close by incase anyone wants to meet up with us. If so, let me know so I can work in a stop there.

Mapquest says it is a 15-1/2 hour drive at 997 miles. If we drove 80mph, had good traffic, and stayed out of trouble, we could make it in at 14-1/2 hours given 2 hours for stops.
We can either drive all the way there and get in at about 10PM, or we can see if a KC member would let us stay at his place for the night, then hit the last 2.5 hours in the morning. I'll let you guys decide, I'm up for driving the whole way.
My dad told me a way that bypasses Knoxville and saves about 60 miles, but we'll decide on that after we find out who all is going, and where people might be meeting up with us at.
I'll have a 2-way radio on me. Incase that doesn't work I'll also have my cell. I have no clue how the cops are along the way other than through TN. We should be able to cruise through TN (minus Knoxville and Nashville) worry free as long as someone has a good radar detector and we behave ourselves to not draw attention. We kept a brisk pace of about 80-90 on the way back from E:4 and had no problems even with Brad racing that Mustang for a mile or so through traffic. I'd like to do the same but since we will probably have a few members towing, we might have to stay right at 80 depending on what they want to spend on gas and how safe they feel.

*Since my address is up for anyone to see..... I live in a safe neighborhood and theft is not a problem out here. Granted someone might try something, my neighbor has a dog that barks at any moving thing at night, and I'll also ask the sherriff dept. to patrol my neighborhood. If there are only a few of you, we have 3 garages that you can park your cars in. If that won't make you sleep well, we can park your car at a friends house that is definitely secure. If thats what you want to do, I'll let you know where it is when you get to my house, that way no one other than me will know where its at up until the time we go there. /paranoia
Just an idea of gas cost. I get around 30-40mpg on the highway so roundtrip at an avg. of $2/gallon, it'll cost me around $110-$120 roundtrip minus seat time gas. If someone with an R wants to PM me their highway mileage under caravan type conditions, I'll figure out where would be best to stop for gas.

No you're not, I run these streets.
Went out through Knoxville last week for an autocross and didn't see any cops on the way. I think we'll be able to do the first 100 miles at around 85-90 (I was doing a slow 80 only due to rain and slow people in front of me).
