Default Help with brake removal please!

Well I got the brake rotor off and everything but I just can't seem to get that center piece out because I broke a stud and I am replacing it.

I already removed the 36mm lug in the center.

I tried pulling it off but I decided to ask someone before I keep on trying and end up screwing it up.

BTW...no thats not my brakes, I just borrowed it to show you which part I couldn't get off.

(I have a 5th gen)

Thanks!
Daniel

Maybe you should try reading...

I'm not asking to get the rotor off.

I am trying to fix my studs and I already have the rotor off.

Trying to get the center peice that is seperate from the rotor.

I have a 5th gen so it is a bit different than the picture.

if i am correct you need to remove the hub in order to replace a wheel stud.
if this is the case you will probably need to use a slide hammer and just keep trying to get it of that way. it may be difficult as you have to separate the bearing.
