That makes no sense, when you give it gas its there but when you rev (which is also giving it gas) it goes away? Care to explain?

you probably have a bad oil leak. dont know exactly what your condition is but i once has a broken piston ring and i had white smoke when i drove. my motor was burning oil.

you should take it to a mechanic and get it checked.

to check if your head gasket is blown...start up your motor and open the radiator cap to see if theres bubbles in the coolant.

holy fucken '04-'05 batman these people just come up with **** out of their ***.

Simpe way to check you got coolent in your oil, or oil in your coolant?
Your overflow tank gets overflown?
Your car overheats?
You can do a compression/leakdown test

It's prolly doing it because it's just cold and humid outside, relax.

And no burning oil will not make white smoke. Water/coolant will do that.

actually, when its cold out there is more humidity. its only when you heat the air up (like in your house) is when it gets dry

DAMN! my car just started doing this.
i drove to work on the freeway, got off the freeway, idle was weird,
turned off car, started it again, sounded like it was a WRX like it was
misfiring, checked plugs & wires, then left the car alone.
after about an hour it was FINE. no nothing. it was good all the way home.

TODAY...going home from school, got off the freeway, half way home,
THEN got a bad idle and that same misfiring with white smoke...

what is it? its pissin me off. it scared me at first because i thought i
had a blown gasket but it wasnt overheating and the oil/coolant was fine..
