so the fenders i ordered from passwordjdm came in, i opened the box. and they are "replacement" fenders made by "API" in taiwan. i was thinking i would be getting 'honda' fenders. but whatever, their "certified" and im sure they are as good since password is a solid company and wouldnt sell cheap stuff.

so question is. is anyone running these replacement fenders on there cars? if so hows the fitment? this was a big concern for me doing the front end conversion from 96-98, 99-00.

usually aftermarket fenders dont fit AS well as oem ones, but they are good enough. i had some aftermarkets on my ride and everything fit fine

 

bump need to find out more bout the fitment on eg6 fenders from password...

Password's products never fit very well. I've installed a lot of them over the years and they're all needed lots of massaging and bending to fit even remotely well.

yea i know that...i did a search instead of making another one...

damn...i just called them too n they said they fit perfectly...i work at a body shop n thats what i thought because aftermarket **** never fit right...

 

I bought some pwjdm fenders for my civic, they fit fine. Due to the fact that I wrecked it in the front and had to do some minor modification to my front end, the most I had to do to the fender was drill out the hole in the middle where the fender meets up under the hood, just a little. It gave it a little play to line up better. But I agree, OEM is always better.

 

dont know if this will show but if it does, this is how the fitment was on my passwordjdm fenders on my ej8. looks perfect to me, although don't know if the body shop had to do any work to get them to look so good. just as a comparison, the first time someone hit my car the fender was replaced with an aftermarket oem replacement fender, it fit like crap, the password fenders fit waaaay better. but heres the pic.

 

coo... props for the info now i got to decide whether to get jdm fenders w/ side markers or stick w/ USDM OEM fenders from honda.
i think my car would look cleaner w/o the sidemarkers. n ill know for sure i got perfect fitment fenders from honda...
