I did a search and couldn't seem to find any place other then http://www.inlinefour.com that sold the K&N filters that drop right in to the stock air box. Anyone out there have these? Anyone know where I could find one?

I remember looking for a drop-in filter for my dad's SUV. We were going to order it at landspeedracing.com, but found that the local Pep Boys had it for the same price. I'd go to any local auto shops first...HTH

 

that's what i have right now.. i used to have aem cai but i was so scared (its just me) of water getting into my manifold..nways, it works great and i love it! you took your resonator box out, didnt you?

 

I havent taken anything out yet, plan on doing all of that along with my swap next week.

 

I got one at Advance Auto Parts for about 35 bucks or so. I'd expect Checker, Schucks, or Kragen to have them too (same company).

I didn't really get a chance to compare it with stock. I bought it the first day I had my car after the swap and the motor wasn't broken in yet.

I ordered mine from there. The filter was very new and even the box was very new. Would buy from them again.


Unlike the ones at the parts store which may have been opened a hundred times.

 

mine was still sealed. I guess I got lucky.
