Default ITR lip ?

Sometime in the future I'm gonna get a ITR lip for my DC4. I was wondering if you guys think I should also get the wing. I've been looking at a lot of pictures of non-ITRs with the wing and they look good, I'm just not sure if I'd like it more than my wingless look in person.

Also, I've been trying to find a color to paint my car that would go with my rims. I love the color of my rims and I don't want to change them. I know black would look good but I don't want a black car. I've also been thinking about sticking with white. I'm looking for suggestions that I maybe haven't thought of yet.

Here's some pics of my car:

Any other suggestions are welcome, because I know I'll get them.

i think the white/gunmetal combination go well with the car. as for the wing, i like the wingless look- its just a matter of taste. personally i would not want an itr wing on my car because it gets annoying to drive with (right in the middle of the damn rear window )

I like the look with the itr lip and wing, i'm gonna get both in the next few months. there is definitely something good to be said about the wingless look though. to each his own.

Gunmetal rims look good with ssbp paint (there's a few on here under the 1st link of the teg forum if you haven't seen one before). Another good option would be to paint it grey like the evo 8 MR edition. That thing looks like a beast with the gunmetal rims and the grey paint job. They did an article about it in scc a few months back. gunmetal rims will look good with almost any paint job though. good luck.

your car would look good with the lip, wing, and painted sideskirts. I would keep the rims the color they are now, they look good that way.

i agree also, try using some rubbing compound on your headlights. i see that your drivers side headlight has alot of buildup on it

Actually that buildup is inside the headlight, and its rusted in there. I have a set of mint headlights off a 01 ITR that I need to put on, but I stripped a few of those black self tapping screws that hold the bumper on. I've only got 4 of those screws holding on my front bumper. Once I get those off I can replace the headlights and have functional headlights. The current ones were damaged in an accident and don't point the right direction, but do enough of a job since I only do city driving.

Save yourself some money and leave it white and wingless. Get an ITR lip, lower it, and remove that line going across the car.

If you got no trunk holes stay wingless. I think wingless looks way cleaner. Btw, try using some never dull on your headlights, they look a lil hazed

stay wingless. I think it's a great look. Also painting the side skirts goes a long way on a white car. I did mine and it made a huge difference.
for the itr lip (painted, of course)

also, the amber sidemarkers are a nice touch to add a little color. Not too big of a deal to to either.

have fun.

If you guys wanna chip in and buy me springs I'll lower it more, since I just got the springs recently and like the drop.

I have another set of headlights to replace my rusted ones. They are rusted on the inside and will not clean up without taking them apart. I had the Prep Manager take a look at them at work. Once I can get my bumper off I'll replace them.

I appreciate everyone's input. A lot of the responses that said to go wingless made some good points. One thing I can't stand is the sideskirts, so those will get painted. I think the pinstripe looks good, but needs to go, so I might do that sometime this week at work. I do like the sidemarkers, my friend has them on his DA and I think I'm gonna find some OEM turn signals or paint my clear ones amber.

milano2kdc2, thanks I like the rims too, got them for cheap with the tires too.

I think I'm gonna be doing Auto-X, so once I get the lip and get everything painted I'll start working on suspension more. I think the first event is in March around here, and I probably will just go and watch the first couple times, so I've got some time before I'll compete.

Thanks for all the input So far all the questions I've asked here on H-T have avoided being flamed, so I think I'm doing good.

I hate cops too, just got ticketed for doing 51 in a 35. I've got a good case so I think I'll get away alright.

I've already got my eyes on sway & strut bars. I've probably got 3-4 months before I start actually doing Auto-X, so I've got plenty of time to do my suspension work. I'm thinking right now, new shocks and bars, then engine bolt-ons. That should do me good and from there I can upgrade as necessary until I'm in a better financial situation and can seriously upgrade.

car looks good. def stay wingless. i have my stock gsr spoiler and need to take it off but it costs some $$ to have that done. so dont drill into that perfect trunk/hatch.

other then that, just get those new headlights in and you'll be set. oh, and remove the pinstripe
