Default best setup

hello everyone im new to the site(not new as in i dont know anything about cars or FI)

whats everyones most successful setup?

Im trying to acheive a decent goal of a little over 300 hp/tq and i just wanted to get a little feedback from guys who know what theyre doing

Im going to use an hf for starters and swap in a jdm b16a(from hmotors), and change out the suspension, brakes, etc.

i was looking into which turbo i should use and thats where i kinda got stuck.

im thinking about using a precision SC-61 but its kinda big and probably really expensive.

would it be too much overkill to use that turbo for just 300 hp/tq or am i aming in the right direction

i dont care if you flame me for being new id just really appreciate your feedback

Well, the first thing i noticed was you want 300hp and torque and you are going b16a. The b16a is crap for torque and you will not net as much HP as TQ with a b16a. The best motor setup for the closest hp and tq rating would be an LS motor (b18b, b18a). The precision sc61 will have some lag to it, it will net 300hp but will lag. Since you are not very knowledable on all this, if i were you i would get a ls swap and full-race stage 1 kit, that will meet your goal with good fuel management and tuning.
