What's a better swap, a LS motor or a GSR motor?
I was looking into a engine swap for my 97 hatch. I've been asking around my buddies and some say the ls is better and then others say that the gsr is a better swap. If anyone knows which one is really better please let me know.
What do you want to do with it?
Both are good motors, how much do you plan on spending and go from there.

dont really know at this moment but planning to have one of those motors and then throw in an lsd tranny as well....any ideas as to what else to do.... i have about a 2k budget as of this moment.
dont think you can do much with $2k
you definitely cannot get a B18C1 swap..
you might have luck finding a B18B within your budget..
remember other than the complete swap.. you also have to get parts like timing belt, clutch, probably sensors.. and pay for labor if you are not doing it by yourself

Stay stock. You have no reason to swap right now. If your going to swap just to be in the "in" crowed then thats a waste.
