Default Alpine Alarm SEC-8447A

I hydrolocked my civic tonite and the alarm kept going off afterwards because it got wet. I tried using the little key to manually turn off the alarm but the key broke and would turn. Eventually the alarm slowly died and got quieter. I wanted to disconnect the battery so the alarm wouldn't go off in the middle of the night waking up half the block but as soon as i took of the negative, the alarm would make a slow noise like when it was dying then get real loud. Not sure what to do since the key is broke. Need help. Thanks.
