Default question face gauge

$4QUESTIONS!

1.)for the instalation of face gauges do u guys remove the stock face or leave in there?
i broke the needle in my factory cluster for gas & temp....buying a new one should i remove the stock face gauge or leave it ....

2.)one more thing i cant move the needle .....why? i moved mine during instalion for the tach so i can fit my indiglo and it aint working right now it sticks at 4rpm arghh....does this mean its dead?

3.)buying a new cluster cheap with a little up of my milleage 10k and ill just put a sticker in the side of the door my old milleage.

4.)for the gas in my new cluster how do i fix it so it can read it perfectly?
put a full tank and move the needle to full? or leave it it will calculate automatically?

Given the number of problems you have, just get another instrument cluster. Put the gauge faces on that one. There is no stock face to remove...slide the new faces over the existing cluster.

I have the same problem but my needle is not broken, can i still use the same cluster? Is there a way to put on the needles to work right. I don't want to buy a new cluster, do i have to?

OK i just found out there are no adverse affect on moving the needle around for speedo and tachometer ....they are magnetic so i can now fix my tachometer where is it sticking out.

PLease answer number 4 .
Gas ...how do i do that are they automatically would measure my gas or i dont know???

i moved my gas needle while changing my guages... when i started teh car it went back to the right reading....... i have a 4th gen
