Trying to help a friend out here...

Well, we've checked over and over on what the problem may be and it still comes down to not having a spark at start up. What could be the problem? We've talked to some Honda technicians and they said it could be the ECU or the Immobilizer system.

So, now we are down to just the ECU. We were told that if the immobilizer system was faulty that the engine wouldn't even crank??? Well, it very well tries to turn over, but there is no spark to burn the fuel. HELP! HELP! HELP!

 

did you try resetting the ecu?

 

Only by pulling the back up fuse thats located inside the car...again, this is what I've been told. So, if the information is incorrect, just let me know and I'll try to be more clear.

 

i'm not sure how the immobilizer works to be honest.....and i'm asuming you checked everything twice and maybe even three time... i dunno... try posting this in http://www.s2ki.com in the "under the hood" then under "technical" forum... you should get some more hits there...
