thanks alot for any advice

Check the resistance in the coil, I think it should be like 75ohms,but I could be mistaken, The factory service manual has the correct procedure and reading. It could also be a bad igniter. I have seen those go bad all of the time.

been out of town and car still is busted, i have a volt metter but im not sure what to test.

I had the same problem and I'm 100% sure that it is the ignition coil because I also had no spark and it wouldn't start but like I said I'm 100% sure.
You need to use an ohm meter and check the resistance across the primary and secondary connections. The specs should be:
Primary winding resistance
0.6-0.8 ohms
Secondary winding resistance
12.8K- 19.2K ohms
Primary winding resistance
0.6-0.8 ohms
Secondary winding resistance
12.8K- 19.2K ohms

you can get the cap from places on the net, iv seen them online and it comes with the extra coil wire to connect coil to dizzy. Im not sure about the coil u would need since diff ignition systems have diff resistors and things in them but in my mazda i had i used a 8404 Blaster2 coil and it worked fine. Hopefully someone will post that knows more about it
