Super Secret Civic Ex Trick!!

Well maybe not so secret but i sure as hell didnt kno about this:

With the car off, no key in ignition, if you press the little black panel that covers the clock buttons, the time is displayed for a few seconds!

Nothing ground breaking but something i had no clue about!

It will only work until you break the crystal...then the clock won't work at all.

how would you break the crystal?? You press the button that shields the hour/min/reset buttons, not the clock face itself at all

you can hold it as long as you want (or until your battery runs out)

the clock will keep displaying

i kno lots of other cars have this feature,

idk it just never occured to me to PUSH the little black panel, i just thought it was to hide the buttons and make it all look pretty

my base model 84 civic w/ 1.3L did this.......
