Super Secret Civic Ex Trick!!
Well maybe not so secret but i sure as hell didnt kno about this:
With the car off, no key in ignition, if you press the little black panel that covers the clock buttons, the time is displayed for a few seconds!
Nothing ground breaking but something i had no clue about!

how would you break the crystal?? You press the button that shields the hour/min/reset buttons, not the clock face itself at all

you can hold it as long as you want (or until your battery runs out) the clock will keep displaying

i kno lots of other cars have this feature,
idk it just never occured to me to PUSH the little black panel, i just thought it was to hide the buttons and make it all look pretty

my base model 84 civic w/ 1.3L did this.......
