I tried a search and couldn't find anything. Do you type r experts know if a 98 spec type r ( motor tranny ) is the same as the jdm 99-01 spec . I know they have the 5 lug brakes, and i believe the upgraded tranny with the 4.75 final drive? but how about power rating, and cams? The axles on the 99-00 are beefier i think? 36mm compared to 32 mm.. or are they the same. 98 is obd2 i believe and 99-01 is obd2.5? Thanks alot
