Im having alot of smoking issues with my car which is driving me crazy. When idleing my car starts to smoke pretty bad(really emberassing). Ive noticed that there is smoke coming out of the downpipe and out of the compressor inlet (able to see because im just using a screen for a temp filter) Im guessing this is becuase of the seals or it might be due to my return line. Now to the question If it happened to be my return and i fixed the return would my seals be ok or would the have to be replaced anyway?
BTW i recently put a oil restrictor on the feed to cut some pressure off of the turbo, which i though might also solve my problem. but didnt

 

Fix the return line see how bad it smokes then...if your seals are blown you will definately know....but either way they will need to be dealt with later on down the road.
