no spark
i finally got my car going again after doing a major overhaul of the top end... it ran for a minute or two, nicely, then suddenly died... i have no spark.. any ideas?
everything in the top end is working good, ive heard distributors are kinda poor on accords.... i have power goign to the distributor, but no spark comin out the other side... all my fuses are good... gotta love new years tho, no where open to get parts
i put a new ignitor, and i have a new coil in a bag, but i dont want to open it yet cuz of return policies.. anyone know all the tests for an internal coil?
I had that problem. Check if ur timming aint jump. Take the cap out crank the car if the rotor spins the timming belt is good. Check your cap rotor wires also. Or take the gas line out crank the car gas shoots up ur main relay is good. If not it can be your main relay also hondas r know for the main relays aways going

Is the wireharness arcing on the motor at all there maybe short? If not the distributor it could also be the computer try put a your ecu in a friends car with similiar swap, u can try to putt another ecu in yur car, or u can also do this with distributor. Also check check ign fuse (15 amp) in the fuse box in the dash and the engine bay ? Hopefully this works or steers u to the problem but if u find the problem please let me know ok?
no spark, so doesn't turn over?? i would say ignition coil same thing happened to me, we routed up an external coil for a bit, then we replaced the internal coil
