pics fixed. And no, I payed for it myself. I lost vision in my eye due to an immature ****** and now I bought the R with the money. So i traded my eye for it basically.

So let me understand this better u brought your type r with money u got from loosing an eye & your 16? & u don't consider your self lucky? Didn't u have a ek coupe b4 u got the type r? u sound like a real lucky person to me but hey i could be wrong

 

Yeah...I can see barely anything...at least I can drive. I'm not completely blind, but pretty much legally. I can't read anything, see anything that is the size of a half dollar, and everything is blurry as hell. I think it's 20/600 or something horrible liek that. Yeah, if I had a choice, I wouldn't trade it...but my lawyer sucked and all i got out of it was around 20k. Oh well, I just need to be careful about preserving my other eye.

Man let me tell you, I'd be more lucky if I could see out of both eyes. When I'm rounding a corner, I have to lean to the middle of the car so I can see out of the middle of the windshield. I like my EJ8 (Ek coupe) fine, and I still have it...may sell it, may keep it as a daily driver, or give it to my older brother, who doesn't have a car...

How is losing vision in one of your eyes lucky?

 

seems like the last thing i would buy if i lost an eye and was legally blind would be a type r. but hey, if you dig it, its worth it

 

well ijust saw an eye on ebay for 25,000 k... mint... never used.. white on blue.. eh..

The immature bastard was messing around while being very unsafe and threw a sheesh kabob (metal and very sharp) and it landed in my eye and stuck there...I was in shock, pulled it out, and was rushed to the hospital, then needed to be flown to a hosptial in KC, had emergencey surgery, then a couple months later had another surgery to try and preserve what I had and reduce chances for infection.
